Intermodal - Heritage Freightlines Division of Evcro Inc.
Description
In 2015, brothers Matthew and Timothy Devereaux, owners of Devereaux Farms, purchased the storied business of Intermodal Heritage Freightlines, a division of Evcro Inc. from the previous owners Bruce and Deborah Bennett.
Intermodal got its humble beginnings back in 1928. Along with his partner, Maurice Bennett started a small trucking company in the small town of Listowel Ontario. This company grew into a dynamo organization with the help and dedication to the services provided by the employees over the many years.
By 1988, Maurice’s trucking company had grown to over 500 employees and had an operation division featuring LTL, FTL, Flatbed, Rack & Trap and Intermodal services. By 1944, after sixteen years in business, the company had grown to service all of Ontario, Quebec and 48 Continental States.
Later in 1989, Bob Cronin and Partners bought the Intermodal division of the company establishing Evcro Inc. Skip forward a few years to 2015, after Devereaux Farms purchased the company from Bruce & Deborah Bennett, and Intermodal/Heritage Freightlines is continuing to move your goods from around the corner or around the world while maintaining a focus on the small-town customer service which has been our foundation to success
